STAGE 02 OF 04 · JEWELLERY CAD DEVELOPMENT

Build and inspect the digital model.

The approved brief is translated into a controlled Rhino model. The design is reviewed visually and technically before any printable file is released.

What happens

We construct the jewellery geometry to the agreed dimensions, establish the stone seats and settings, and prepare review views. Revisions are made against the agreed brief so design changes remain traceable.

What we need from you

  • Approved stage-one design brief
  • Exact gemstone dimensions or reliable stone data
  • Ring size or finished product dimensions
  • Intended alloy and manufacturing route
  • Any casting-house or workshop requirements

Technical checks

  • Minimum wall and feature thicknesses
  • Prong, bezel and stone-seat geometry
  • Clearances, symmetry and assembly access
  • Pavé spacing and setting-tool access
  • Open edges, intersections and avoidable trapped volumes

Approval point

Visual approval confirms the appearance. Dimensional approval confirms specified measurements. Production-file approval is given only after the manufacturing checks relevant to the agreed method have been completed.

Possible deliverables

Review renders and measurement views are normally supplied. Editable 3DM files, print-ready STL files, size variants or production drawings are supplied only when included in the quoted scope.

A photorealistic render can show the intended appearance, but it does not by itself confirm wall thickness, tolerances, stone fit, supports or castability.
